Are You HazelNUTS About Nutella?

Variations of this little recipe are knocking about at the moment so at The A Department we HAD to give our own version a go. If you are nuts about Nutella – here’s a little concoction you can whip up at home using all CLEAN ingredients. But be warned – your tastebuds may explode!

What You Need:

200g Raw Hazelnuts

1 1/2 Tsp Organic Vanilla Extract

2 Heaped Tblsn Unsweetened Cocoa or Raw Cacao

2 Tblsn Xylitol

1 Tblsn Agave

1/4 Tspn Himalayan Pink Salt

200 ml Almond milk.

Preheat oven to 200C.

Place raw hazelnuts on a grease-proof paper lined tray and roast till browned.

Pat dry with kitchen roll and place in food processor. Whisk till they form a paste with desired texture.

Add Cocoa/cacao, Almond Milk, Salt, Vanilla Extract, Xylitol and Agave to the processor.

Whisk again until all are completely combined.

Place in a jar or tupparware and chill in the fridge.

Serve on protein pancakes, spelt bread or simply……. with a spoon! 😉
