Five Healthy Eating Cafes In Dublin

Looking for some lunch or brunch recommendations? Here are my favourite five healthy eating spots in Dublin.

1: Two Fifty Square

I absolutely love this cute cafe in Rathmines in Dublin. A great healthy menu and some “treat yo’self” options too. I’ve two faves here – the Spanish Eggs and the Poached Eggs and Avocado – I always get mine with a side of marinated kale. Just delicious!

2: The Marker Hotel

I am obsessed with the Equilibrium menu at The Marker Hotel. Options include raw juices, The Re-fuel Salad and The Nutri Burger. And you have to try “dessert” too – A Warm Apple and Chocolate Crumble or a selection of healthy treats. A nice (plush) way to brunch!

3: The Lo-Cal Kitchen

This little gem is nestled in the heart of Castleknock so a lovely little stop if you’re in the vicinity of Phoenix Park. This is my go-to spot with the girlies with a huge menu of healthy options including a the Lo-Cal Breakfast Bap and the Healthy Hangover which includes poached free range eggs, turkey rasher, turkey sausage, tomato, spinach and mushroom. Just WOW.

4: Avoca – The Egg Cafe

I’ll admit I breakfast here a lot and always go for the poached eggs and lemony avocado – but there are so many other amazing things on the menu like the Blueberry Pancakes and the Creamy Porridge. Plus there’s the added bonus of a little snoop around Avoca once you are stuffed to the brim!

5: The Happy Pear

Working in Greystones (Co. Wicklow) I’ve always been a MASSIVE fan of The Happy Pear Cafe – and now they’ve only gone and opened one in Dublin! Their new cafe, in Clondalkin, at the Clondalkin Round Tower Visitor Centre. Delicious coffee, soups, salads and healthy treats – a perfect weekend stop.
