Clean Dinner Recipe Chilli Con Carne

Do you fancy spicing up your dinner table? Well here’s a little recipe that should hit the spot – Clean Chilli Con Carne. There’s no need to reach for the ready-made sauces – you can be the ultimate kitchen god/goddess by opting to reach for the spice rack instead. Don’t be afraid to experiment with spices, use the taste test to make sure your dish has enough “umph” for you! Give this little recipe a go – you won’t be disappointed!

 

What You Need:

Minced beef (lean) or Turkey Mince

1 Onion

1 Red Chilli

2-3 Cloves Garlic

1 tsp Paprika

1 Tsp Cumin

2 Tsp Oregano

1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes

3 Tblsn Tomato Puree

1 Tin Red Kidney Beans

1 Vegetable Stock cube

Coconut oil

 

What To Do:

Fry your onion and garlic in some coconut oil in a deep pan.

Add paprika, oregano, fresh chilli and cumin and stir well.

Add mince stir until brown.

Add tomatoes, vegetable stock and tomato puree and mix well.

Add beans and reduce heat to allow to simmer for 20-25 mins.

Add salt and pepper to taste and serve with quinoa, brown rice or even some fried sweet potato.

Beware its spicy!
