The year of Liir

For years now – possibly since my RTE You’re A Star days – I have been toying with the idea of creating an all female “band”. But, like so many things, my little idea was put on the back burner. Late last year however, it started to come to fruition and Liir was born.

I’d discussed the idea with a gorgeous pal of mine Michele McGrath on many occasions and after coming in touch with singer Kim Hayden via the wonderful world of Facebook, the three of us decided to meet up and see if there was any depth to the idea. As it turns out we all gelled immediately and I can honestly say that THAT is the reason we’ve decided to make 2015 the year of Liir 🙂

We’re currently rehearsing for some very exciting times coming in the next few months and we can’t wait to tell you all about it. For now though I’d love if you could “Like” us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
